Welcome to Bon- Buns! These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Bon-Buns website (the "Site"), including browsing our products, placing orders, and purchasing gift cards. By using the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
 
1. About Us
Bon Buns is a micro-bakery based in Hackettstown, New Jersey, offering small-batch artisan bread and handmade chocolates made with organic flours and heirloom grains. Products are prepared fresh to order.
 
2. Orders

  • All orders placed through the Site are subject to acceptance and availability. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for any reason, including limited ingredient availability, pricing errors, or suspected fraud.

  • Because our items are handmade in small batches, quantities are limited, and some products may sell out.

  • You are responsible for providing accurate contact, delivery, pickup, and payment information when ordering.

  • Order confirmation does not guarantee availability; we will notify you if an item you ordered is unavailable and offer a substitute, refund, or store credit.
     

3. Pricing and Payment

  • All prices are listed in U.S. Dollars and are subject to change without notice.

  • Payment is due in full at the time of ordering unless otherwise stated.

  • We are not responsible for typographical or pricing errors and reserve the right to correct them, even after an order has been submitted, by contacting you before fulfilling the order.
     

4. Pickup, Delivery, and Local Market Sales

  • Depending on availability, orders may be available for local pickup, delivery, or purchase at local market locations announced via our newsletter and social media.

  • You are responsible for reviewing pickup/delivery windows and picking up or receiving your order within the specified time. We are not responsible for products left unclaimed beyond the stated pickup window.

  • Delivery times, if offered, are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
     

5. Allergens and Food Safety

  • Bon-Buns products are handmade in a home/small-batch kitchen environment that may process wheat, tree nuts, dairy, eggs, soy, and other common allergens.

  • We cannot guarantee that any product is free of allergens or cross-contact, even if not listed as an ingredient. Customers with food allergies or sensitivities order at their own risk.

  • Please contact us at microbakerybonbuns@gmail.com before ordering if you have questions about ingredients or allergens.

  • Products should be consumed within a reasonable time and stored as instructed, as they contain no artificial preservatives.
     

6. Cancellations, Refunds, and Returns

  • Because our products are perishable and made to order in small batches, all sales are final once an order has entered preparation, except as required by law or noted below.

  • If you receive a damaged, incorrect, or defective item, please contact us at microbakerybonbuns@gmail.com within 24 hours of receipt/pickup with photos, and we will work with you on a replacement, credit, or refund at our discretion.

  • Orders may be cancelled or modified free of charge only if you contact us before your order enters preparation.
     

7. Gift Cards

  • Gift cards purchased through the Site are redeemable toward Bon- Buns products and are non-refundable and non-exchangeable for cash, except where required by law.

  • Lost or stolen gift card codes cannot be replaced unless proof of purchase is provided.

  • Gift cards do not expire unless required otherwise by applicable state law.
     

8. Newsletter and Communications

  • By signing up for our newsletter, you consent to receive email updates, including product announcements and market location updates.

  • You may unsubscribe at any time using the link provided in our emails.
     

9. Intellectual Property
All content on the Site—including text, images, logos, recipes, and design—is the property of Bon Buns or Madison Web Works and is protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or use our content without prior written permission.
 
10. User Conduct
You agree not to use the Site to:

  • Submit false, fraudulent, or misleading information;

  • Interfere with the security or functionality of the Site;

  • Violate any applicable local, state, or federal law.
     

11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bon-Buns and its owners/operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or consumption of our products, including but not limited to allergic reactions, except where such liability cannot be excluded by law.
 
12. Third-Party Services
The Site may use third-party services (such as Wix, payment processors, and email marketing platforms) to operate certain features. We are not responsible for the practices or content of these third-party services, which are governed by their own terms.
 
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
